Enterprise Cultural System of Huadian Mechanical Institute
 
前  言
    企業文化是企業在長期生產經營實踐中形成的反映本企業自身特點的價值觀念、經營理念、行為準則、企業精神和企業形象的融合體。其本質是以人為本,以文化育人,以文化興企,也就是在企業經營發展過程中,以員工為本,以文化凝聚人心;以顧客為本,以文化贏得市場。華電鄭州機械設計研究院有限公司企業文化體系(簡稱“華電機械院文化”)分企業精神、企業愿景、企業價值觀、經營理念、經營方針、日常管理原則、員工守則、公司標識共八部分組成,構成統一的企業文化。
    Enterprise culture, formed in the long period of business practice, summarizes the values, the operation principle, the behavior standard, the enterprise spirit and the corporate image of enterprise. The essence of enterprise culture is the business operation value implicated by the ideology “people-oriented, educating people with culture, prospering enterprise with culture”, which has the same meaning as “taking the personnel as center, condensing the popular feeling with culture, taking the clients as basis, winning the market with culture” during the process of enterprise development. The cultural system of Huadian Zhengzhou Mechanical Design Institute Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Huadian Mechanical Institute Culture”)  is divided into eight parts. They are enterprise spirit, enterprise vision, enterprise value, operation principle, operation guideline, daily management principle, employee code and logo.  
    華電機械院文化總體表述為:以公司發展戰略為統領,努力打造華電品牌、為能源產業的發展提供優質裝備和工程技術服務為使命,始終堅持自強求新,自信求進的企業精神;始終堅持誠信、求實、創新、高效的核心價值觀;秉承為員工發展提供舞臺,為顧客滿意創造價值,為社會繁榮增添光彩的經營理念;廣大員工恪守員工守則,努力打造世界一流的能源電力工程技術公司。
    Huadian Mechanical Institute Culture is generally stated as follows: Taking the development strategy as command, HMI dedicates itself to creating the brand of Huadian; With the commission of offering the superior quality of equipments and the technical services of engineering, the enterprise spirit of “Self-improvement for Innovation,  Self-confidence for Progress”, the core value of “Honesty, Truth-seeking, Innovation, High-efficiency”, HMI adheres to the operation principle of “offering the development space for staffs, creating the value for customer satisfaction, and adding the ornaments to the social prosperity”; All the staffs strictly abide by the employee code in order to put their efforts to make the institute into a world-class engineering company in the field of energy & power. 
 
一、企業精神:自強求新,自信求進
Enterprise Spirit: Self-improvement for Innovation, Self-confidence for Progress
    自強求新:自強求新是華電機械院全體員工的共同追求。華電機械院以科研興企為責任、產業報國為己任,堅持科研與產業并舉、謀求更大、更快的發展。華電機械院員工始終以奮發向上的精神狀態、矢志不渝的理想追求、改革創新的堅強勇氣,努力為員工幸福、企業振興、社會和諧貢獻力量。
    Self-improvement for Innovation: It is the common aim for the whole staff of Huadian Mechanical Institute to pursue. HMI is responsible for “prospering enterprise with research & science” and undertakes the duty of “dedicating industry to the nation”. Combining research with industry, HMI is striving for greater and further development. All the staff of HMI attempts to contribute their strength to “the felicity of staff, the vigorousness of enterprise, and the harmony of society” with the spirit of optimistic attitude, unswerving pursuit, and innovative courage.
    自信求進:是華電機械院全體員工的共同品格。我們真誠面對顧客,勇擔企業責任,努力為顧客提供高品質的裝備、為社會創造更大價值;堅持職業操守,奮力開拓、創造業績,在置身企業發展與社會進步的宏偉進程中錘煉品格。
    Self-confidence for Progress:  It is the common personality of the whole staffs. HMI treats the clients honestly and dares to undertake the responsibility of enterprise for offering the high-quality equipments to the clients and creating the greater value for the society. All the staff here believes in morality, adheres to the professional ethic, creates the excellent performance, and tempers their characters during the process of the development of enterprise and the progress of society.

    The enterprise spirit is the core of the enterprise culture, which has concentrated the outstanding culture after the long-term development of enterprise. Therefore, HMI will unswervingly uphold and advocate the cordiality spirit of “standardized operation, devoting oneself to one’s duty”, the true spirit of “putting one head down, polishing the polish”, the dedication spirit of “being cautious and conscientious, being laborious and uncomplaining”, the enterprising spirit of “forging ahead despite difficulties, advancing for being pioneer”, the pioneering spirit of“doing whatever you do in a valiant manner and never surrendering to failure” and the truth-seeking spirit of “pursuing the high-quality product and working with high-efficiency”.

    誠信:誠信是“立業之本,立身之道”。是維系企業內部與外部人際合作,保障公司生存與發展的基本紐帶,也是我們在市場經濟中最基本的立足點。企業要在市場競爭中求生存、謀發展,必須以誠信為本。做到誠信無欺,坦誠相見;立信于民,取信于社會。誠信也意味著我們忠誠于企業,忠誠于事業。
    Honesty: It is the foundation of career and the approach to self-cultivation; It is the basic link for the interpersonal corporation between the inner and the external of an enterprise, as well as the basic link for the survival and the development of a company; It is also the basic standpoint for the company competing in the market economy; It requires the corresponding performances for the enterprise to act such as integrity and honest, candid exchanging, conveying honesty to the people, and obtaining trust from the society; It implicates that we should be loyal to our enterprise and our cause.
    求實:求實是華電機械院一直堅持的實干作風和務實精神。適合的就是最好的,從對公司結構的調整,發展戰略的確立,以及采取“板塊經營、擇優扶強”的措施,都體現了公司的求實精神。求實是科技工作者求索未知領域的基礎,也體現了全體員工任勞任怨、腳踏實地的行動。
    Truth-seeking: It is the continuously persistent surefooted work style and pragmatic spirit of HMI; The best way is the one which fits you, which is reflected in the spirit of truth-seeking that can been comprehended in the restructuring of the company, the establishment of the development strategy, and the implement of the measure of “operating in section, supporting the preeminent”; It is the foundation for the researchers to explore the unknown field; It also reflects that all the staff has the spirit of “putting one head down, being laborious and uncomplaining”.
    創新:創新是一個企業持續發展的源動力。回顧華電機械院的發展歷程,從第一臺自主研發的隧洞掘進機到今天百萬火電機組施工塔吊設備的研發等,就是一部創新發展的歷程史。尤其是在市場經濟條件下,我們要堅持不懈地進行觀念創新、管理創新、科技創新、產品創新,因此,創新是公司發展的內在要求。只有通過創新,才能實現公司持久永續的發展,把公司建設成為百年老店。
    Innovation: It is the source driving force for the sustainable development of an enterprise. Looking back upon the development history of HMI, it tells us that it is a course history of innovated development which is began with the first set of tunnel boring machine researched by the company independently and ended with the research of the construction tower equipments with millions of thermal power units. The whole process of development proves that it is a history with development and innovation. Especially in the market economy, it requires ideology innovation, management innovation, technological innovation and products innovation. Therefore, it is the inherent requirement for the enterprise to innovate. It is improved that the company can step on the path to the sustainable development only by the way of innovation, which is also the way to a well-known enterprise.

    High-efficiency: It is sublimated from the dedication spirit of all the staff. What HMI has promised for the enterprise growth is to improve staff quality, to emphasize on the work efficiency, and to create more value for the enterprise development. No matter whatever the post is and whatever the job is, the employees are required to keep a foothold of one’s job, to lower the cost, to save energy and explore potentiality, to improve the ability, and to increase the achievements.     China Huadian Corporation is the shared homeland for all the staffs. “Loyal to the enterprise” means all the staff is loyal to the post wholeheartedly, overcoming the hardship together. “Brave to pursue” implies that all the staff should self-encourage and self-surpass with the strong achievement motivation and the enthusiasm of establishing a business.

    China Huadian Corporation considers the brand as the lifeblood of enterprise. “Honest in the business” means that it is required to face every related stakeholder with the honest. “Adept in cooperating” means when cooperating with the partners, CHD treats them honestly and create the prosperous environment with them under the condition of respecting and understanding for each part.

    The logo of China Huadian Corporation conveys the rich and profound connotation in the form of extremely aesthetic sensibility. It symbolizes one rope twisted by several-stranded ropes which produce a strong resultant force, showing the aggregation of momentum and energy of a large-scale industry, which is the symbol of enterprise development and employee unity. Smooth lines imply the formation of dynamic and the conversion of energy, conveying and reinforcing the enterprise features of coordinated development on the four major industry sections of “China Huadian” such as power generation and coal. They are full of vigor and vitality of modern enterprise, highlighting the concept that the modern enterprise is in pursuit of prominence. In form, it is similar to the surging waves with an implicit meaning that the enterprise should develop towards the need of society and the market and should keep the management thought of forging ahead with keen determination, being tolerant to the diversity and exploiting boundlessly.
    標志的標準色為天藍色和海藍色,天藍是晴空的顏色,寓意博大、寬廣、高遠;海藍是大海的色彩,寓意睿智、理性、穩健。以藍色為主體色彩,代表先進的科學技術和生產力,蘊含著強烈的現代環保意識,洋溢著可持續發展的活力,以及對生命的珍視,展示企業以人為本、造福人類的宏偉志向。標志集中體現了中國華電團結、向上、高效、合作、環保的企業形象。
    The standard color for the logo is sky blue and navy blue. Sky blue is the color of clear sky with the implication of “vast, spacious, and lofty” and navy blue is the color of the sea with the implication of “sagacious, rational, and moderate”. With the blue as the main color, it represents the advanced science & technology and productivity, implies the strongly modern environmental awareness, permeates the vitality of sustainable development and the cherishment of life, and conveys the grand ambition of people-oriented enterprise with the benefit for the mankind. The logo embodies China Huadian Corporation with the enterprise image of unity, progress, high-efficiency, cooperation, and environmental protection.

    大寫的E代表電力、能源,ZMI是華電鄭州機械設計研究院的簡稱"。紅色象征著紅火、旺盛;黑色象征者莊重、高科技。采用紅、黑兩面種顏色體現公司發展能源產業裝備的內在精髓。

    The capital E refers to the energy and power. ZMI refers to the abbreviation of Huadian Zhengzhou Mechanical Design Institute. “Red” stands for “flourishing and vigorous” and “black” stands for “solemn and high-technological”. The use of red and black reflects the inner essence of developing the energy industry equipments.

    The enterprise culture is the thinking and the way of management, as well as the behavioral pattern obeyed by all the staff of enterprise. The operation principle of enterprise culture requires to be adjusted with the changing of marketing situation. However, the spiritual culture system of enterprise, especially the core value of enterprise, should be the basic concept that cannot be shakable for a long time and the core guiding ideology that keeps the enterprise in the situation of sustainable development. Meanwhile, it is also the spiritual identification and the individual character of one enterprise.
